Brenda B. Brandt, CPA
Brenda began her accounting career with Vrakas/Blum, S.C. in 1989. Primarily working with closely-held businesses in the manufacturing, service, distribution, construction and not-for-profit industries, she provides business consulting services to a diverse group of clients. As the firm’s designated AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center Liaison, Brenda is responsible for the ensuring the firm’s ERISA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Practice provides quality service in accordance with professional standards. She also helps coordinate the firm’s campus recruiting efforts.
As an advisor to closely-held businesses, Brenda forms personal relationships with each of her clients. In addition to leading audits and reviews of corporate clients’ financial statements, she works with a number of small business owners who use accounting programs such as Peachtree and QuickBooks, with the objective of helping them to become self sufficient in preparing their own monthly financial statements. By helping her clients achieve autonomy in their bookkeeping responsibilities, she allows them to apply their resources towards strategic accounting services such as tax and succession planning. Ultimately, she positions her clients to achieve their long-term financial and business goals.
With over 20 years in public accounting, Brenda attributes her success to her strong work ethic. She strives to make Vrakas/Blum the first place her clients turn when they have a question. Brenda commits herself to providing high quality, prompt service to her clients. She lives by the golden rule and enjoys working with clients who share in her philosophy.
Brenda currently resides in Menomonee Falls with her husband, Brian, and their two children, Connor and Anna. In her spare time, she enjoys playing golf and traveling. Brenda’s children also keep her very busy while away from the office.
